  13. I have been using Thor for the past few days, and asside from a few small
  14. problems it's been working great.  I was unable to get GetTCP to finish a news
  15. download from the CLI, but now I have a worse problem.

  17. From the GUI or from the shell, when I ask it to get News (mail is fine) it
  18. contacts the newsserver and then immediately either Gurus or the broken
  19. programme requester comes up, both with a $80000004 guru number.

  21. I have tried BaseManager validate and the rexx script as listed in the manual,
  22. and then retried and it does the same thing.

  24. I am going to try setting up a new system with a few newsgroups and see if
  25. that fixes things.

  28. news.. :(
